how did your fashion month go ?
how are we feeling ?
one thing is sure, that month was far from boring.
I stayed in Berlin and spent a lot of time just commenting on whatever was happening and just watched everything go down on social media, watched a few shows on youtube, liked some but didn't really fall in love with any, although, I wish I would have been in Paris to see Jean Paul Gaulthier's Fashion freak show.
Valentino was kind of a dream to watch even in video, with Kristen McMenamy opening the show.
Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood was perfectly wacko, just like we like it, Area was very pretty, Rihanna's fenty was steamy and Gucci was... well... Gucci.
Unfortunately the Drama was not as visible as we would expect on the clothes, it doesn't seem to be about the clothes anymore but like I said, it was far from boring.
Fashion month, four cities, about four weeks and plenty to talk about.
new york was eclipsed by the Cardi B vs Nicky minaj catfight at the harpers bazaar icon event
then a few days after, Naomi throwing shade at the whole event saying it was an icon party with no icons attending. #sideeye #shade #naomiisqueen #whatwouldnaomido?
and allegedly, Marc Jacobs started his show late to spite Rihanna. #drama
In london it was all about Burberry and the introduction of the new questionable bretzel print by the new creative director Ricardo tisci and a show far from exiting.Milan saw Versace being bought by Michael Kors for enough money to cure the world hunger.
Paris, Paris, Paris also had it's fair amount of turmoil with people expecting Celine but getting Hedi for why SL ? #huh #waitasecond
Is this what we should expect every season now ? whatever happened to the clothes ?
Also, I'm still hoping and Praying for the real Manfred Thierry Mugler to please stand up and make a come back.
how long are we going to have to wait ?
